Brief Description
The British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) branch promotes compliance of safety regulations within the commercial transport sector, with the goal of increasing road safety and protecting public health, the environment and transportation infrastructure. CVSE officers conduct more than 30,000 vehicle inspections each year, issuing violation tickets and removing unsafe vehicles from the provincial roadways on a daily basis. Their focus is on the safe and efficient movement of people and goods in B.C.
